Importance Of Meal Prepping

Planning your day or week is something many of us do. When you plan your day/week you are likely to be more productive than if you don’t. The same concept applies to meal planning. Whether you have a Monday through Friday work week, work on weekends, or even nights, taking a few hours the day before you return to work to plan your meals for the week is crucial. Meal prepping is something we all should do for our general wellness. When you plan your meals for the week, you are likely to eat healthier, prevent overeating, save time, money and avoid mealtime related stress.

Importance Of Meal Prepping

One great tip I always give my patients is to prepare foods that work with different dishes, and alternate them throughout the week so they are not eating the same foods over and over. Another great tip is to prepare some quick grab and go snacks to avoid unhealthy snacking. You don’t want to spend all that time prepping your healthy major meals, and impede your weight loss goals with unhealthy snacking.
